Welcome!

In September 2006, I was approached by some very bright folks to build a Web 2.0 software company from the ground up with the sole mission of building easy to use Property Management products for Real Estate Investors. Being part of a founding team is always exciting – working to establish a company from nothing to a certain valuation, converting an abstract idea into actual products used by millions, defining and establishing processes that actually enable efficient development rather than hinder, building teams where none existed to those that execute with clinical efficiency and are second to none, learning a bunch of new (and fun) technologies; needless to say, the experience has been exhilarating and enlightening, and I have been the richer for it.

Responsible for the engineering organization and product positioning/customer experience within the marketing strategy group, this blog is a collection of my interesting observations and learnings during that journey.
